I I don't like that term to be honest with you.

I think we are all

hole, but the person that you're in relationship with.

I think once we're aware of our own behavior um and we can learn to suspend our own narrative and listen to the other person's feelings about really what was going on for them.

we can become less defended and more empathic.

It absolutely does.

And it it requires you to be curious about what's going on for the other person rather than be so fixed to your own story.

And also like, you know, is this rare really worth it?

Is it really worth all this, you know, can we just please both acknowledge we both had a part to play?

And that we're both sorry.

Yeah.

And even if one person was the one who was explicit in their poor behaviour, the other person can still say, I'm sorry we fought.

You know, so there is a kind of a duality in that apology.

And apologies, I think we might talk about that, they're really, really important.

So the word sorry is important.

Extremely.

Yeah, I think you know, I think when I was considering maybe w about apologies, the idea of like, well, I'll make you a cup of tea or I'll bring you flowers and that's my gesture to signal an apology

It is in a way, but it's not a full apology.

I think an apology requires the words that I am sorry for my part to play in this.

I'm sorry for my actions.
