You know, while we can all talk about how we think this might turn out, I I don't think we really know how this is all gonna turn out.

And so we need to be flexible and respond to whatever the future brings.

Um second, and this one is particularly important to me, is the erosion of local control.

Especially when it pertains to development.

Um the state and special interest groups have had increasing influence in the area.

Um then it's making it much more difficult for you.

And frankly, I think we need to recognize that the Bay Area doesn't have great public transit.

Obviously we need to work on that, but until we do, I feel like you need to allow people to

have a vehicle so they can get to where they need to go, especially if you have like two jobs, children and you're running between all these different places.

Public transit just doesn't work in that regard.

So I hope the new council focuses on working with the region to do um better when it comes to public transit.
