Um also during my tenure, you know, we created the pedestrian mall in the first three blocks of Castro.

Um as you've heard we've opened six parks.

Um but more important we have more parks in process and we purchased property so we can have even more parks and I hope the next council continues with that trend.

We also adopted an economic vitality strategy.

And was mentioned we approved the design and the construction of the new public safety building.

And um we increase funding to improve the condition of our roads.

Um all of those I think have to do with the quality of life here, um, which was mentioned was really important to me.

How do we maintain and improve the quality of life of the people who live here?

We also updated some policies um that are particularly noteworthy.

We changed our investment policy to prohibit the investment in companies that are directly involved in the

um exploration, production, refining, and marketing of fossil fuels, and we divested the city's holdings in those areas.

And uh we increased the budget for public art.

Another thing that was important to me, I think it adds to the quality of life and the vibrancy of a community.

I'm very grateful to the community for their support for me being on council.

Um as

Supervisor of a coga said, I'm here because of your support and I greatly appreciate that.

Um I really appreciate the residence and the organisations.

That have shared their expertise with me and have helped me.

You know, nobody can do this alone, and so you really do need
