They didn't even take away pension.
They were just like, hey, we might do this.
And Franz was like, oh, hell no.
And in Grenada, the same person was in power for quite some time.
And then he got a little too comfy and tried to do the same thing with pensions.
And Grenadians was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, get him out of there.
Get him out of there immediately.
And that was that.
It wasn't even like a confusion.
It was just, nah, finish, party done.
So I say all of that to say,
that americans have been tricked into thinking they're comfortable and and and this is done by small incrementations over time that we don't argue enough about right when they like we talk about how when they took your rights for roe v wade that's when everything should have been just handled and i'm being careful with my language for obvious reasons but that is when we as people needed to demonstrate
in a way that did not leave confusion about our frustration.
And in that show, the show uses comedy and lecture and characters to ask the question, what would our ancestors say about where we are and what kind of ancestors are we going to be for those who come behind us?
And I have a segment of the show where I talk about the Here Nigga Damn laws.
The Here Nigga Damn laws are the laws that were passed
Not because it was morally the correct thing to do.
Not because it was ethically and just to do so.
But because the people stood up in a way that was undeniable.
