Yeah.
So Bloody Sunday happens in Selma.
The people stood up in Selma.
The people said, we're going to walk across this bridge, even though we know that the devil is on the other side with hate in his eyes, with guns and batons and horses.
We're going to walk across this bridge to demonstrate our desire to exist as American citizens in the full existence of our rights, which includes voting, which we are being denied the right to do.
And they did that.
And the press was there.
And thus this got broadcast all over the nation.
And now liberals who had been pretending like this was not their business were like, ooh, now we see it, we can't not see it, which we saw with George Floyd.
And what happened?
So then right after that, you see that they pass, I think that was when they passed the voting rights law, but that was in response
It wasn't ahead of time.
It was response.
And it was in response.
People put their bodies on the line.
As somebody who has been out protesting, right, I have put my body on the line.
As somebody who understands what it means to lose it all, I put my whole career on the line to simply say, hey, this genocide is unacceptable.
So I know that a lot of us are like, well, I'm not ready to do that, which is why at the top of my website, Amanda Seals dot com, it says, you know, ask yourself, what is your courage?
What level of courage are you at?
