And as he did most recently, the key is, will he finish the job?

And that's what's open-ended at this point.

How do you define that, finishing the job?

Well, I think in the near term, if you're going to have an agreement with them, to have an agreement that provides verification, provides monitoring, et cetera, but that takes out of country the enriched uranium and it takes out of country the ability to enrich at whatever level.

I think that's absolutely essential.

And we also, of course, have to focus on the Strait because I think another lesson that the Iranian regime has learned is that they can put a great deal of pressure on the international economic system by closing the Strait simply by threatening to destroy maritime vessels coming through the Strait.

And we've got to be able to deny them that capability.

And it can't be just- They seem to be.

I think that's the risk, and that's why the president needs to hold firm.

But as you point out, there are countervailing pressures in terms of the price of gas at the pump, in terms of the midterms, the impending midterms.

I mean, Trump knows that, you know, if the Republicans lose even one half, even one of the two houses, it's going to be nothing but investigations all over again.

Everything is up.

Yeah.

And, you know, it's it's going to in effect.

And and the Trump administration, at least its ability to to affect true, true and significant policy in, you know, in the United States and around the world.

Yeah.

Well, I think it's a very good question, and I think we've seen it over and over again.

And we're certainly seeing it now.

The key is, you know, does the president have the, you know, the strength, the internal strength to stand up to those pressures and to do the right thing?

Because as I say, if not, we could be worse off than before.
