Like, I know, like, in the Caribbean, it's such...
a big love for sports like cricket especially like especially with the past generation and always having that good following in terms of like having the legends behind you and have role models and stuff like that and I know Brian Lai is one of your role models yeah definitely number one yeah definitely yeah how did you like own your skills as a wicketkeeper batter
Good, good, good.
So how has you find your journey
starting off playing in Trinidad and then I know like you played, you went to university as well, you played with the university as well and then you moved and you played for Leeward Islands, you even went to Jamaica, played for the Tallawahs in the CPL, like how has that journey been for you?
Yeah, yeah, like I remember meeting you in Sink It's in 2019 and you was new to the team at that time and just the way how you care about yourself and your work ethic is, was amazing to see and watching your journey moves on from then, like it's been amazing to see and all the hard work, even following you on Instagram, you always, even during COVID, I remember seeing you doing stuff in your backyard, you know, fitness, walking on your fitness and stuff like that, so commend you for that, like just continue to do what you've been doing and
Keep striving for greatness, man.
Yeah, good, good, good.
So, what about, like, have you had any bad experiences throughout your journey in cricket as well, like, that you don't mind speaking about?
Yeah, that's the thing.
And those stuff just make you a better cricketer.
Makes you strive for better.
It's just all part of the journey.
Correct, yeah.
So, I know you just played in the breakout league and you guys won it.
How was that experience in having been part of the first breakout league?
Yeah, that's good, that's good.
Yeah, I think it's a tournament that was long coming for Happn, like it's something like that we needed to and give players more exposure, more exposure to competitive cricket and stuff like that.
Yeah, and even little tournaments like Cool and Smooth and stuff like that.
I've been part of that as well and I think Darius, I don't know if you know Darius, he's doing a really good job in that.
