So, yeah, I think there's there's always going to be tons of opportunity there to help you know sellers become kind of an
asset and almost like an a an extension of SEO for me.
Um but I think we need to do the work to provide tools to make that so.
With our site kind of still being some of to some extent a work in progress, we have a lot of item traffic, a lot of listings.
Um
driving a lot of the bulk of the traffic because those kind of take on the the long tail opportunities in the absence of of other content where we're capturing things maybe in a little bit more of a controlled way.
So it's been okay for now and I we've done different measures with no indexing and canonicals to kind of maintain what we do have and kind of control the quality that's coming in.
But again with listings and and that's just kind of the nature of the two sided
marketplaces you can't control for everything, but you can put enough rules in place to to keep it manageable and and as good as possible.
Yeah, I mean my first role um in SEO was at Vivid Seats, which was another ticket mark secondary ticket marketplace.
And so I mean, really, I learned SEO at the same time I was learning what I guess became kind of a specialization in marketplace SEO.
And a lot of it it does come down to the basics of just kind of I would say getting getting an understanding of SEO all the way through like the Maya's beginner guide to SEO was was huge for me and just kind of getting
Lay of land of what is this?
What does it mean to you know write with users and keywords in mind, having to kind of accommodate search engines and uh content that's good for people?
But in terms of of marketplaces specifically, it's all about the technical.
You have to be you have to get comfortable with JavaScript and server-side rendering and schema and templates and CMS.
And internal linking, site maps.
I would say there's there's probably no, you know, SEO tool I haven't used at some point.
But it is a kind of it'd be a matter of what is the site itself.
I think some marketplaces like ours are when it's niche, you know, it's maybe a little bit of a different beast than if you're you are an eBay or an Etsy where you're selling all different kinds of things, but you're still going to come back to those.
