Did you see, this is slightly off topic, but on that topic, there was a clip from, I think, that marriage counseling show, the Like Couples Therapy.
And there was a couple who were coming in because they were talking about like the mental load and all of that and the wife was just like at her wits end.
And then her example was like she was trying to do like a sort of chore chart and divide everything up and have it clear so that her husband could see what needed to be done.
And then all she asked him to do was pick a whiteboard marker colour.
And he couldn't even do that.
And she was like breaking down, talking about this story where she was just like, I literally just want like one decision taken away from me and you couldn't even do that.
Yeah, if you're in a relationship where, like, especially where commonly you are holding the mental load, if you are in some sort of magic completely 50-50 relationship, wow, incredible, good for you.
Happy.
But even, like, some of the best people I know, like the best men I know, still will encounter issues with their partner with the mental load.
