torturing you and like that's what she's doing like that's that's that's why she's doing it right i i get that it makes no sense from a normal human context but like that's not who you're dealing with like that's not the story you're watching here like yes she will keep this going forever yes she will keep extending the protective order that she has against the one guy which that part was so heartbreaking because like i think they handled this well in the show so one of the men she has a like domestic violence restraining order against and there's no evidence that he ever voice-verified

And having just come off this season seven, where there was two of the cases we talked about where the men had extensive histories of domestic violence and seeing like that, the police and the court, like they did nothing in those situations. voice-verified

And then seeing this person because she has wealthy parents and she's white and she can present herself a certain way as a victim and whatever else like and is just so manipulative that she is able to use these systems in a malicious way. voice-verified

And I think, again, in like a way that women are accused of using the system, but don't, right? voice-verified

heavy question when you're presenting a story like this and i think i feel this a lot with the show of like we all feel this very like unfair burden to be like how are we going to represent women like women are this monolith that like needs good pr all the time you know lest people just decide that we're manipulative harpies who you know whatever voice-verified
