I mean, I'm happy to take a stab.
I feel like in this election cycle, we all have the collective memory of a goldfish.
You know, initially I thought this is going to come and go.
You know, I've written before about how the presidency is not one man.
We have all this sort of, you know, kind of mythos about the buck stops here and everything like that.
I think Biden is completely capable of doing the job.
I honestly do.
But I think if the narrative doesn't go away that he's too old,
then yeah, I mean.
Yeah.
What do the polls show?
I'm kind of wondering, you know, I read something kind of scary today about like 538, I think said it was like, you know, that Trump had a two to one chance of winning at this point.
But then I read something else that was like, Biden sustained a 2% drop in popularity after the debate.
And I'm like,
Not great.
I've got two questions, I think, about these numbers.
One, you know, so I do presidential history.
I don't work on elections.
It's a lot easier to talk about things 100 years in the past.
But who's a recent candidate that has had a reputation narrative built up around them and has been able to shake it?
