So I don't know, I just, I've got this feeling like we're in this world where these things just really come and go, you know, just headlines are very fleeting.
And I think that before all this stuff in the debate, I think the Biden team was doing a great job hammering home the narratives of abortion rights, and Trump's sort of proto dictatorial statements, you know, and I think, if and when the campaign can get back to hammering home these themes, I mean,
it's not so much Biden's strengths so much as Trump's obvious weaknesses, you know?
So I think, can the narrative flip back to what it was before?
That's the question?
Well, I mean, I'm just I'm just nodding along with Richard.
I think I've agreed with everything he said.
I mean, I think be scared because, again, this is not this is not Tweedledee versus Tweedledum.
You know, Trump was scary in 2016, scary in 2020.
Now he has driven out the moderates who would presumably be kind of a restraining force in his cabinet.
He's come back with a plan.
He's convinced a lot of the base to talk like him, a lot of Congress people to lie like him.
I mean, he has really changed the Republican Party and dramatically for the worse.
So like beyond 2024, I really worry about what's going on with our two party system.
But who can win?
You know, back to the kind of Pollyanna thing.
I mean, I think Trump is the single most flawed presidential candidate in American history.
You know, he has this kind of magical Pied Piper thing.
But like, let's focus on the baggage.
