Now, if you think about that, allegedly illegal is by definition legal.
just as an alleged murderer is by definition an innocent man.
So in Switzerland, we have a law which is coming in.
They want to pass it, our Swiss federal council, and the parliament will probably agree to it as well, which cannot even censor illegal things by definition.
It can only censor legal things.
So you think about that.
On the one hand, we have our hate speech laws, which
officially criminalize certain forms of speech.
And with the DSA, you wouldn't only be able to say what is, well, the DSA would in effect make it also impossible to say what is legal.
So in the end, you will neither be able to say what is illegal nor what is legal in Switzerland.
which would effectively mean you can no longer say anything.
And that is in principle what the EU has done with its Digital Services Act.
It commands, this is the EU's Digital Services Act, it commands companies like Facebook to delete illegal content, which is just an allegation by Facebook once again in the EU.
Most Swiss people, the overwhelming majority, oppose a membership of the EU, quite rightly, for it would destroy our democratic sovereignty and unmake us a democracy.
You cannot be a member of the EU as a nation and simultaneously remain a democracy.
It is impossible.
Now, the EU is basically an oligarchy, and as you pointed out, this oligarchy, which is ruled by unelected bureaucrats and technocrats, has bullied Switzerland.
In other words, they wish to impose things on us, and certain government circles are quite willing to hop along to the tune of the EU.
And if we don't do as the EU says, they will no longer talk to us.
They have in certain instances refused to talk to our negotiators and so on.
