But as you quite rightly say, the Switzerland is the last great bastion of democracy and freedom in Europe.
And we are fighting hard, my organization and many others, including the Leonhard Kreis in Switzerland, which operates across Europe.
Germany and Austria as well, to stop this relationship with the EU coming on, which is a new bilateral agreement that our government wishes to impose upon us.
And it is quite annoying to see that what Hannah Arendt said, the famous German philosopher, that basically the bureaucracy is the rule of no one in opposition to the people, which is the rule of the people, is instantiated in the EU.
Well, quite simply, a democracy is where the people rule, which is the people's will in effect, which is both the will of minority and majority to follow the will of the majority.
Now, if you look at France, which is in the EU or Germany,
They are in the EU, which means that if 80% of the French people were in favour of reducing immigration from Germany, they would not be allowed to do so because the EU's rules forbid it, which is a direct contravention of the French people's will.
That means it is by definition not a democracy.
Our organization was founded in the spirit of the Enlightenment.
And one of the things that we fought, me and my board, which is composed of professors, is that we can't just simply talk about free speech all the time and lament the censorship.
We have to do something about it.
So what my organization basically does is it provides people who have been censored or canceled in Switzerland and in Germany with lawyers, which we pay for in order to defend them through the court, you know, if necessary to the highest court in the land to protect their constitutionally guaranteed right to free expression, artistic freedom, freedom of religion and conscience, and so on, including press freedom.
So that is one of the core pillars of our organization, which goes back to the idea that my right to free speech comes with the responsibility to guarantee it to another, particularly to other citizens.
Because if others don't have it, neither do I or anyone else.
It is something for all or none.
And the point is that we not only do this with lawyers, we also write articles, which you've already referenced a few of them.
We also make videos online and interviews.
We organize conferences and we partner up, just as the War Room does, by building a network of engaged people and organizations.
We build up a network of organizations and people in Germany and Switzerland who are prepared to fight the good fight and stop Europe sliding into a sort of dark age in terms of free speech.
That is the main function of our organization.
