It's quite important that certain people put their head above the parapet.
In fact, one of our top professors,
who is a professor of media sciences and a philosopher who is equivalent to the Roger Scruton of Germany, had his house raided in the morning some time ago because he said that, well, you know, he made an allusion to a famous German song which was propagated or sung by the Nazis, but he was using it to critique wokeness.
So one of the German newspapers printed something about the AfD, which is the right wing populist party in Germany, the most popular party in Germany, as I understand it right now.
And the newspaper basically said that Germany is awakening to the threat of the AfD.
Our philosopher, our professor basically took that phrase, it is awakening, and said that is equivalent to woke, because woke has to do with awakening, even in German.
So he made the connection to woke, and he said that Germany is awakening.
And he said it a little bit differently than the newspaper article.
And then they accused him of using that song which sings Germany Awakes.
And they accused him of being a Nazi.
This was the state prosecutor of Berlin.
Luckily, that died over quickly and he sort of overcame that storm.
Unfortunately, jury trials in Switzerland were abolished quite some time ago.
Now it's basically a judge who decides guilty or innocent.
It is unlike the US in that respect.

A judge who decides about guilt or innocence is basically an agent of the state.
He is not impartial, I believe.
I think that the freedom of citizens is the most important thing this world has to offer.
