Absolutely, if the agreement was lodged, I think that would have had led to questions being asked, it would have led to the players association being involved.
Well it's not necessarily an illegality, because if all the parties to the contract agree to it, you can vary it.
So there's special conditions that are part of standard playing contracts that are agreed and they're approved.
