They couldn't have her.
Where did she go then, home?
Yeah, she went to live with my granny and then eventually she didn't want to be living with my granny because obviously her mother was given out to her for being this way.
As any parent would.
So she, you know, kind of goes home and we're like going out to check on her and...
trying to stop her from doing these cans and you can't because she's a grown woman with a car and a house.
Like, she can do what she wants.
Yeah, big time.
And she was hiding them, yeah.
So she was trying to convince us.
So it was just lies and, yeah, it was lots of lies and...
suicide attempts and stuff I remember she started driving under the influence and then it was really just like okay whatever about like you're trying to kill yourself like you're going to kill someone else like on the road like this is outrageous like she got arrested a couple of times because we called guards on her like did you yeah yeah well I didn't but my brother did and my cousin did like and they were like great like you know as they should but as I was kind of saying to you off air um
you know, she'd get arrested and she'd go to the Garda station and then they'd get a psych kind of evaluator in to chat to her and they'd be like, you know, what are you doing?
Are you okay?
And she's like, no, I'm fine.
Yeah, it's just, it's a bad day.
I'm fine.
I'm not suicidal.
They'd be like, okay, well, we have to take that at face value.
Yeah, the whole family is, but, like, kind of as our cousin, who is a doctor, was saying, like, as frustrating as it is, you can't take someone's capacity off them.
