It was really bad.
Like she was beating up my brother when he'd try and like take a can off her and stuff.
And
like it was just so erratic and just not her like you know she just wasn't mum not the kind and caring person that like we all knew her as and then I called the guards the next morning being like she's being violent she's acting erratically like please arrest her and bring her to the thing and they're like we can't do anything so I remember I'm going on such a tangent now but she drove to the shop to buy more cans I followed her in my own car up the road
took a photo of her she literally outside of the shop after buying these cans inhaling like the rag full of thing so i took a photo of her in her car doing drugs and showed the guards and i was like now will you please arrest her and bring her to this place and they're like yeah okay we'll do that now so they brought her and as i said like you know some doctors they just really didn't care um but like for every one doctor that we would kind of come across that wasn't great or didn't care about where there was like 10 that was doing a great job and as best they could
but I remember we were in Portlaoise and again because she was high they'd have to medically clear her so you'd have to bring her to A&E and stuff but I remember in and amongst it all I was standing with the guards who were so good by the way like they were doing such a great job helping us out and me and the guards were standing in the like kind of yeah the hall and the head doctor of this place and he just saw me he recognised me and he just laughed and he was like oh chock-a-block on the cans are we are we back are we
and then i say oh that's really sad yeah like that just shows like how you view this all like you just think she's a junkie like yeah you don't see her as a person like but as i said like for one bad doctor there was so many occupational therapists and psych people and you know who just really cared about her and wanted the best for her and yeah because that's your mom and

Like, it was just so sad to see her.
Like, I'd have to sit in on psych evaluations and they'd be asking her stuff like, what do you do for fun or do you have any hobbies?
And she'd be like, no.
Like, I just, I'm not happy.
Like, I just have nothing.
Like, I just, I just exist.
Yeah.
So...
yeah so that was the crack so and then as I said it wasn't her and like you know there'd be glimpses of her I remember my girlfriend's granny it was her funeral and my mom came up to go to the funeral to kind of you know be supportive because we're sort of two families now and she was just her she was normal she obviously wasn't high at this funeral thank god like
So she was just like mum again.
I was just like, I remember being really hopeful that day because I was like, oh, that's her.
Like, maybe this can, like, you know, we'll turn this around again.
