I had to actually go to lectures.
So I moved back to Maynooth and
Yeah, I kind of left my brother and my mom at home in our house and like we live in the middle of nowhere and awfully like middle of nowhere is an exaggeration like the middle of nowhere.
So they were so isolated, the two of them like just wallowing in the grief.
And yeah, it was really tough.
They were so isolated, just like living in it, breathing it in like.
Yeah.
Whereas I, like, moved in with, like, a load of people in this house, so I was surrounded by a lot of support.
My one regret is, like, I was just so happy and pleased from, as I said, that I was like, I'm fine.
This is, like, this is what's best for him and the suffering is over and we can all move on.
And then I remember about a year later, I, like, totally crashed out.
Like, it was bad.
Like, it was really, really bad.
And then eventually I went to therapy and kind of... That was so helpful, but, like, it was... Like, it was a bad crash out, just, like, not...
dealing with it so tell me a little bit about that yeah I just like got from a male perspective yeah such bad like social anxiety like I just had convinced myself that everyone in the house like didn't like me anymore they were fed up with me I like was afraid to leave my room because I didn't want to annoy people by being in the common areas like I remember I'd want to go to the toilet the toilet was on the other side of like the kitchen from my room and I hover my hand over like the my bedroom door and I just like I can't leave because I can hear them in the sitting room
and I know they don't like do you know I know that they don't want to hear from me I'm annoying people do you know I don't know if that was like necessarily from the grief but like yeah it got really bad like and
Then, yeah, my girlfriend was really supportive about that at the time.
But anyway, yeah, it was just a big crash out, like just not dealing with it and stuff.
So then when mum died in 2024, I really went out of my way to go straight into therapy and really try and like accept it.
Yeah.
