Yeah.
Yeah.
No, it was great because I never understood what irrational thoughts were.
They're my thoughts, like that's what it is, like this is true.
People do hate me, but the therapist was like, now, have your friends ever told you that they hate you?
And I was like, no, I suppose they haven't, have they not?
Do you know, like really?
And that was really helpful for me.
And the idea of like challenging your thoughts because they might not be true.
yeah the majority of them about ourselves probably aren't yeah exactly and there's a lot of insecurities and like arguably eating disorders thrown in there for good measure like so do you know it was really like it was really bad like and then the therapist was just like gave me the tools like do you know what i mean yeah so like that was kind of sort of quick enough in the grand scheme of things like it was a couple of months like of hard work but like just honestly life-saving because do you know like that's even eating disorders is a massive
part yeah yeah for me like i turned to food for comfort yeah yeah over it yeah yeah i still do to this day yeah but you know what i mean it's like but people don't talk about those things i think like i had the real typical man one where like i want to like bulk up and be muscly and you know go to the gym and stuff and then i wanted to like count calories so that i was eating enough calories and protein to build the muscle and then when i like wouldn't hit the goal
would be like just devastated like and i'm making no progress i'm getting nowhere in life do you know what i mean my girlfriend's like are you well like what is wrong with you like you know a bit obsessive nearly yeah yeah obsessive and i was like no it's not an eating disorder because i'm trying to eat more food i'm not like starving myself do you know what i mean and i feel like men probably struggle with that one a lot yeah 100 yeah it's like it can be could be all different forms all eating disorders are about control
Yes, yeah, exactly, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, exactly, yeah.
That's exactly what it was, yeah.
Yeah, definitely, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, no, not good.
Like she didn't go to therapy and just she had postpartum depression after me.
So for like 20 years, chronic depression.
