It's really, really funny.
And to be honest, I don't think there's been a bad iteration of Alan Partridge.
Any of the series, the audio books, even the film, I've enjoyed all of them in some capacity.

I think with all the controversy that's gone on outside the ring, I think this is the one thing he can control and the one thing he feels he can make a difference on.

If I have a fight scheduled, I can be disciplined.
I have a goal to aim for.
I think a lot of what's gone on with him previously has said is because he has been aimless.
I think he needs this as much as anything for his own sanity.
