That was the closest we came to this being mainstream.
I don't think where we are right now is there.
It goes like this, the UFO topic.
I hope the Spielberg movie makes a difference.
for anyone thinking he's got real aliens in it real alien sounds and stuff that's nonsense but i think there's a chance if we get if we get something dropping in the coming weeks with the aliens.gov or alien.gov site and in conjunction with that movie which spielberg must be loving the the viral marketing that can go along with that you know at the same time
that can make a difference again but I feel we've not had a peak like Grush perhaps maybe ever in UFO circles and for me it really lasted four days if you're talking UFOs going mainstream
Don't you think, though, that that moment, just Grush making the statements that he's made so far, has pushed the conversation so much further along?
Like you said, we have a Spielberg movie called Disclosure Day now.
What?
It seems like so much has happened since 2017.
Yeah.
Yeah, I talk about this a lot.
If you look at other podcasts like Joe Rogan and he has Bob Lazar on, you know, he's getting eight, nine, 10 million views per video.
I mean, it's crazy the numbers that he's getting.
So it seems like people have it's much more at top of mind for a lot of people.
um you don't see that that doesn't some some people yeah but i think you've got to think what is truly mainstream and you've got to go to your average person in the street not not your youtube bros who watch joe rogan and that's that's a great audience he's got because it is on the pulse for a lot of people given the size of the audience same with sean ryan alex friedman these guys get millions really serious views and then you're level down you've got your jesse michaels your chris ramsay's
that are making essentially the new tv shows they're not making podcasts they're making tv shows for people right for me when it gets to the point i can go to people in an office and say give me some names about ufos and tell me some stuff they're still going to say roswell most won't say david grush or even know that name they might mention somebody who came forward and talked about ufos and aliens
I still tend to find your average person with an interest in this topic that I speak to in the UK will say Stephen Greer, Jeremy Corbell, Bob Lazar and that's if they can name all three they'll say that guy who talks about UFOs on Netflix and they'll mean the doctor and they'll mean Greer or they'll talk about Corbell as the documentary maker
or they'll talk about Bob Lazar being the main UFO guy who worked on UFOs.
That, for me, still is UFO mainstream.
