So for some people, it is mere survival, right?
They've just got to get through each day depending on the challenges that they're facing.
But for others, you know, it may be an opportunity to look at some new goals.
And, again, it might be something that you want to think about for your time in lockdown or it might be something that you still want to work towards over a longer timeframe.
But what I would suggest is, you know, be kind to yourself.
For each goal that you have, you know, break it down and maybe just try and prioritise a few things for the day or even the week so you're not putting too much pressure on yourself to try and achieve a whole lot of things when, you know, you're dealing with the stress and the complexities of the global pandemic as well.
Yeah, great question, Owen.
And this is another one that I've been talking a lot about to people.
So that ratio is a really good one just to consider yourself, you know, potentially over a week, you know, just reflect on your day and have a think about, you know, how many positive emotions am I experiencing for the negative?
Because unfortunately, what we tend to find is that we are a bit out of whack of that, you know, sort of three to one guide that we're aiming for.
So the first step is thinking about how you can dial down that negativity.
And at the moment, we are surrounded by it.
You know, when you turn on the news, it is just full of negative stories.
And that's not surprising given the times we're living in.
So my first suggestion is always to limit your time on the media and reading the news.
So I don't know if you're someone that has those notifications that seem to pop up continuously throughout the day.
But what tends to happen when you stop what you're doing and look at those is
you know, if it is a negative story, it just, it zaps your energy and you actually, you know, become quite fatigued from it.
So my first, you know, suggestion is absolutely turn off the notifications and also consider, you know, worry time is what I call it.
So when will you actually go and read the news?
