I think these are clues that you might be subject to this kind of a distortion field.

So let's get into the things that you have seen work for people to break out of this false reality, essentially.
That's the heart of my question.
How do we get over the fact that we're not reliable narrators when we're in this state?

So let me just use an example.
So I'm in a typical office and I feel this creep in often in a meeting setting, for example.
And so I'm just going to grade myself on my contribution to meetings for an entire week.
Is that an example of what you're talking about?
