Problem with the permit office, or you're having a problem with Medicaid, like who do you call to complain?

Or, you know, you stand in a line for five hours to vote.

Who do you call and complain?

Who is responsible for that?

It's often not clear.

But there are just a million little things that could be done, right?

The government doesn't cleanly define what a household is.

It'd be really useful to do that.

Harmonizing income requirements across programs so you don't have one program talking for monthly gross income and a second talking for net income.

Simplify the income standards.

Get rid of asset testing, which is where they basically make you prove that you don't have a secret giant bank account in order to get a payment from Social Security because you are a senior with blindness and a disability.

Let the IRS do people's taxes if they're using the standard deduction.

Go ahead, just let them do it.

They would love to do that.

Make civil servants responsible for outcomes and give them the flexibility to deliver those outcomes.

Fix the government contracting process when it comes to tech.

Improve data sharing practices within the government.

That would be hugely, hugely helpful.

So, how do we create a politics that demands this?
