There are a lot of appointments which were seen as basically rewards for disloyalty.

So John Healy had resigned, Wes Streeting had resigned, you know, they're back in.

Lou Haig was seen as having, I mean, she was kicked out though by Starmer from the cabinet.

And there are other examples of people who were either demoted or kicked out who now have more senior positions.

Lucy Powell is an example as well.

So I think there is a bit of bad blood there.

And there is, you know, there is definitely a feeling that, oh, it's ironic that you're talking about wanting to end factionalism when we see this as a very factional reshuffle.

Having said that, there are still figures who are on the front benches.

We talked about Pat McFadden from the last administration, Yvette Cooper, health secretary.

Yeah.

And there are a number of people behind the scenes as well who suggest that there is quite a lot of continuity from the old regime.

James Purnell is Andy Burnham's chief of staff.

He's an old, you know, uber Blairite.

So it's not all drawn from one faction of the party.

And also he just had to, didn't he?

He had to build his own government and he wants to.

He didn't mention Keir Starmer, did he, in his speech outside Downing Street.

He didn't say any sort of nice conciliatory words about him.

And I think he wants to represent a break with a Labour government that he said during his campaign in Makefield, you know, needed to change and hadn't done enough for people.

Is that a potential problem for him?
