We're seeing the people making slightly spiky comments.

You know, on day one of Andy Burnham's government, we're seeing the resignation letters that kind of drip with resentment.

So he's almost created Starmer's base for him there.

You know, the old Starmerites are going to feel quite...

I think they're going to feel quite resentful because they basically say, okay, you know, you think it's so easy.

Have a look at how much money there actually is to spend.

Have a look at all of the difficult choices there are to make and then come back to me.

And I think there is some fairness in that.

I think he is going to find that it's very hard to please all of the people all of the time.

he is a bit of a people pleaser style politician and you just can't do that as prime minister.

So I think that is difficult.

Having said that, it was really interesting watching his campaign in the by-election because it wasn't negative.

Even about reform and Coco, what you expressed about Nigel Farage is a very, very common sentiment in the Labour Party among Labour MPs.

This is kind of their, they feel their last throw of the dice and it's

sort of existential for the country.

But Burnham didn't speak in those terms.

I mean, he spoke about, you know, we should be against division and stuff, but he didn't mention Farage by name.

The way that he and the reform candidate interacted each other was all very good natured.

And I think if he's trying to do a sort of politics in a more positive way, then it might avoid some of the infighting that he's found so distasteful since he's come back to Westminster.

But there is certainly going to be that base of people there.
