I was talking to Reed Duthie, the incredible voice of the Brantford Bulldogs, and he was actually talking about how the Canucks were always watching Caleb Malhotra.

So I think that they wanted him pretty much the entire season.

If they would have fallen to three and they didn't get McKenna.

And I feel like now it's kind of set in stone with the Manny Malhotra hiring.

He also, Kayla Malhotra at the combine was talking a lot about the Canucks and his dad and how.

you know, an honor it would be to play for the Canucks.

So I feel like there's a lot of traction there as well as with Stenberg, you know, I don't necessarily think that, I mean, the city as presidents, that's a big deal.

I mean, I've our Stenberg almost broke Daniel Sadeen's record for 40 points as a under 18 or an 18 year old in the SHL, which hasn't been done since 1999, obviously Daniel Sadeen.

So that could go into it.

But I really do think that it's a Caleb, a whole trip front runner race at this point until something changes.

Well, I think this is another great, interesting topic, and I think we saw it with the Knicks a little bit, with Jalen Brunson and his father, Rick Brunson, as the assistant coach, but it's a little bit different.

But Jalen Brunson, him and his father during the playoff series, I think against Atlanta, they were chirping back and forth to each other, and then they won the championship.

and off the ice, but especially on the ice when, you know, he went to a Brantford Bulldogs team that was absolutely loaded with almost seven first round picks.

And you have to fight for ice time.

You have to fight for power play time, which was the best power play in 30 years.

So it helped his confidence there.

So I think as you see the year over year progression of Caleb Malhotra's game, you're seeing the type of advice that was instilled by his father throughout.
