And then chase read six, two offensive defenseman with some really good defensive potential in terms of, he believes it's an underrated strength of his game.

I talked to him about that too, especially in transition.

And at the World Juniors, he looked like USA's best defenseman at times.

So I think that we have to take what his rise has been since playing in the USA Channel, only 10-game sample size, but he had zero points and did not look anything like Chase Reed.

And then you go to the OHL and you just dominate your last two years there.

And I don't think we normally see that.

But in the 2024 draft class, you were having players that were defense go that were, you know, sub six feet or six foot.

And I think that with Chase Reed, Verhoff and Carroll's and even Smeets, who's.

One of the most athletic defensemen in this range and very physical played at the Olympics and World Juniors for Latvia and is playing in the DEL.

And in the playoffs, you know, he had two goals, four assists in 11 games when Maureen Sider had five assists in 14 games in the playoffs.

So I think that all four of those guys can have that, you know,

very cornerstone defensive player for you that you kind of covet in any draft so this is a this is a really good draft and you know the draft rankings for me are so tight because they're all in the same tier but i'm like i'm just excited to see where they go i think chase reed will ultimately be the number one guy but if carson carrolls is i would not be surprised either yeah

Yeah, I really like this pick as well in terms of you could get a guy like Liam Ruck.

You could get a guy like Ryan Lynn who falls or Xavier Villeneuve who falls.

And I think Xavier Villeneuve might be there in terms of what I'm hearing and in terms of he might slide because, again, another sub six foot defenseman like Ryan Lynn and none were drafted last year as well.

So that was kind of interesting.

So like a guy like Juho Piper Reiner would be also a great value there if you're looking to get
