So what happens if I go bankrupt?
I started to workshop different ideas because I was like, all I need to happen in this moment of information control and foreign interference, we need proof.
I need this proof to be out there because this was just one example and God knows where else and what other institutions it's happening in.
And we've seen other examples with writers' festivals and all these other kind of lobbying interference influencing outcomes.
I knew that if I got it to court and in the public, that I would not regret that.
I'd never say never.
I might do a project space thing.
I can't ever imagine being a full-time ABC employee or a full-time anywhere employee.
I just think that the media landscape has changed so much and I value my independence.
Hosting a doco or doing something here or contributing in a way, I'd be open to it with the right project.
I think it's more a question of how comfortable that would make the current board and leadership.
Anybody who knows me knows that I'll just keep being me because I don't know how to be any other way.
I'd like to be able to navigate the world a little more freely without being unfairly attacked and unfairly targeted and unfairly, you know, trying to have my shows or whatever cancelled.
But no, I don't know how to be any other way.
