And they don't like any change to that.
That's not the way the EU sees things.
And Apple is being forced to do something it doesn't want to do.
And its argument is that this degrades what they get.
I mean, ultimately, it's up to the consumer.
Does it really matter that much?
So, you know, we will see.
I mean, do you mind that you don't have the latest piece of tech?
Do you mind that you don't have things exactly the way that Apple designed it?
And that comes down to the consumer.
Would you like their health care?
I don't want to be complacent about it.
I mean, it's not like Europe can sit back and think everything's fine.
I mean, that's what this exercise is about, that maybe things aren't great, that maybe there are rules that clash, maybe there are rules that are a pain in the ass, maybe there are ways of doing things better.
And that's a discussion that's been had very slowly and painfully.
So, you know, take that on where I'm not going to defend...
the EU's approach on this or that it can't be improved.
It definitely can be.
And that's where we are right now.
