And that's also because a lot of this legislation, it takes two or three years to write.
And by the time it comes out, the thing that they were trying to capture has moved on.
And that's the law of unintended consequences, that things are snarling up processes that they were really never designed for.
And you would hope that some of those things can be done better, that you can write something in a way that is a bit more clear and coherent.
But that clearly doesn't happen.
And I think a big issue is that there's just so many layers of things that you've got.
So many different things you need to comply with.
And that is painful and that is difficult.
I mean, it would be...
So one of the current idea of this deregulation push is just to peel back some of that or to exempt some types of companies.
I mean, there's a big talk of exempting startups or small companies from some of this or giving more time.
So those things are in the mix.
How useful it is, we'll see.
