He's got like forty um RBIs with uh runners in scoring position this year, which is uh top ten in baseball.

So yeah, it's a it's a credit to both, obviously.

The bottom will line up getting on and then Bo rising the occasion in those moments.

It's interesting because you know the the the chase isn't much different, the whiff isn't much different, like the exit velos, the hard hit rate, like it's all kind of lining up with what he's been in recent seasons and somehow he's actually kind of not he's been not the hitter he's been in recent seasons, which is saying something because in those recent seasons he was really not the hitter he was in seasons recent to those.

So um you know we can get into expect

Expected stats, and you know that he's got a pretty big gulf between his expected numbers and his actual numbers, and everybody's mileage is gonna vary on that.

Um, you know, I think you if you're the Blue Jays right now, you trust it and you you know trust that it'll come through.

And maybe there's some little tweaks you can make in terms of just like shape of contact, point of contact at the plate, um, you know, what he's attacking, what he's not.

Um, I think you like that the the contact rate is over.

there and the whiff rate is always low.

And he is somebody who is gonna put the ball in play and not strike out.

So um I think if he's like hitting seventh, eighth, ninth and playing the defense that he is, then great, like hunky dory.

But you know it's I think the issue is when he's hitting like fifth or sixth or cleanup when as he was on opening day, um, you know, you just need something a bit more potent in in those spots.

really kind of depends on in a funny way the order around him.

Like if you're relying on him to produce runs and to be an offensive force in your lineup, um, yeah, that's gonna leave something to be desired.

But if he's just at the bottom of the lineup working on, you know, working at bats and fouling pitches off, putting the ball in play, moving runners, some of that little stuff the blue jays talk about so often, that's a better fit for him right now with what he's able to provide offensively.

Yeah, Varsho um had a little bit of tightness crop up in his hamstring while he's running the bases on Monday.

So the Blue Jays kind of downplaying it.

There's yeah, he's still hitting, he's still taking fly balls.
