So I think, you know, going into a game, he's got a game plan.

He understands how he wants to attack different guys.

He's talked to Tyler Heinemann or Alejandro Kirk about it.

But then I'm sure he goes out to the bullpen and then just gets a feel for like what's working.

You know, it's my am I getting that good like induced vertical break on my fastball.

Am I getting that ride?

Or you know, is the cutter like actually something I'm locating more consistently.

do I have to lead on that.

I mean, yesterday, when you have control and command of two breaking balls, like you could do a lot.

Um, you know, when you're you're you got a slider and a curveball that you can land for strikes and expand the zone with that that's how you get through a lineup three times is when you can mix and match those pitches before even getting to the the firmer stuff up in the zone.

So um like I just think that you know when you have that deep arsenal it just gives you more avenues, more routes.

and more ways to be effective on a given day when maybe you aren't feeling your best with somebody else.

Yeah, I mean they've been doing a great job all year of getting on base and we've been talking about it ad nauseum.

But uh, you know, it's really impactful for a guy like Bo Bichette at the top of the lineup who as a leadoff hitter is guaranteed uh one plate appearance per game where he's got nobody on base.

And like here he is leading the blue jays in RBIs and um, you know, top five in the league and hitting with runners in scoring position and as you said, on pace for a hundred RBIs in the season, which um as a lead off hitter is

It's like actually incredibly rare.

Um, you know, Cal Schwarber's done it, Acuna's done it, um, Mookie Betts has done it, but there's only like five guys over the last decade who've had a hundred RBIs at the leadoff spot.

So it's kind of a rare thing, and and Bo could do it this year because of you know, the the Ernie Clements at the bottom of the lineup or the Tyler Heinemans or you know, Andre Jimenez getting on base last night was was helpful.

Um, and also because Bo is just like come

through in those spots um when he's had runners on at like one of the best clips in baseball.
