So we did hear that very critical testimony.
The prosecution came out swinging after making this very powerful opening statement.
They came out with this witness, again, the police, former security guard for the hotel,
talking about Sean Diddy Combs trying to shove a wad of cash at him, suggesting that he was trying to bribe him to keep the information about what he saw, what he observed that day quiet.
So it was a big day for the prosecution.
And look, this is how trials work.
The prosecution goes first.
They're going to put on their most powerful and persuasive witnesses.
Oftentimes people think that cases are going one way because they just heard one side.
But trials are marathons.
You've got to be patient.
You've got to listen to all the evidence.
You have to recognize that after the prosecution rests, the defense is going to put its case on and then you're going to hear a counter narrative.
So where this case ends up is not clear at this point.
But we do know that there is a mound of evidence against Sean Diddy Combs and this defense that he has of this just being either domestic violence or consensual sex with girlfriends.
It's going to be difficult for a lot of jurors to buy that.
We did.
We learned what their strategy is.
We learned through their opening statement that they're going to claim that Sean Diddy Combs was perhaps a violent person.
