I mean, certain schools have maybe five minutes.
So five minutes, assuming that a certain written essay is given to you on the screen for five minutes, I think writing more than 200 or 250 words, or even that is a bit of an oracle, maybe 150, 200 words is a reasonable, because then it gives you time to think and have that structure that I mentioned and then expand and maybe even go through it towards the last one minute or so.
Just see if you can even
prune it down or sort of revise it or even reduce it so that it's more crisp.
But what I would sort of have in mind that is, sure, it is important.
You don't want to say something that is dramatically wrong or, you know, say words that don't exist or so on.
But I think paying too much attention to it sometimes, you know,
causes more stress that you leave out in certain points or sort of, you know, you get into stress mode.
So sure.
And this is where also the initial part of what I was saying helps is when you usually write, are you someone that expands and follows grammar structure and so on, then I think it's a muscle that you can build, not just while preparing for this, but even while you're writing an email or even while you're sort of, you know, drafting a post or something like that.
I think that's something that I would suggest doing well.
you know, beyond or outside of the preparation for these PR or video or text interviews?
I kind of see a certain category or set of candidates that really want to go to the U.S., that are aware of the risks, you know, applying as an Indian, both as an MBA candidate or even when looking for jobs post-MBA.
But due to certain reasons, maybe they have some family presence there or, you know, that has been their childhood dream or, you know, a mix of certain reasons that they still want to prioritize the U.S.,
And there's the other category where they either earlier considered only the U.S., but now they won't hedge their bets.
Sure, maybe you want to apply to M7 slash U.S.
top 15, but also want to look at an NCR, LBS or, you know, ESA or the lights and then take a call after you go through the process because, you know, nobody can guess what will happen six months from now or, you know.
uh uh seven months from now when you have all the admits uh but something that that uh and then the third bucket is basically folks that are maybe looking at pushing their plans or so on right in terms of maybe i stay in my job maybe a transition to another you know role that might take me closer to my posting vehicle and then you know next year i have more visibility on the whole scenario uh in the us or so forth and then i can take a call uh not the majority there but still there's a certain percentage that is in that bucket that is
either has to score or had planned to apply this year, but for the set reasons, they want to sort of park and then consider their career paths and then take a call and then apply next year.
So I want to maybe add, just agree totally with Joy and Travis, a couple of points, three points actually.
