First is, I always say AI kind of raises the floor, but it lowers the ceiling, right?
So it does a lot with fixing grammar and, you know, sort of the polishing words and so on and so forth.
But what it also does, it kind of strips away the...
the distinct sort of authentic voice that you have, because it's, it doesn't, it hasn't gone through life work or, you know, personally the way that you have.
So it didn't feel how you felt when you face a certain challenge or, or setback or failure or even success or so on.
And the other thing is it also hallucinates a lot.
I mean, we heard during the conference from adcoms who saw essays that quoted professors that were no longer in the school or, you know, deans that were no longer around and stuff like that.
So when you just completely rely on AI, that's a huge risk that it kind of hallucinates a lot.
The second point is what I call the yes sir or yes ma'am problem.
It always agrees with you, right?
So it's kind of garbage in, garbage out.
So what you feed is what you get.
But a lot of times it tends to always agree with whatever you're saying on, you know, hey, I think this is good.
Then it agrees with you.
You say the exact opposite.
You say, hey, yes, you're right.
This is how it should be.
But what you actually want is someone that pushes back and that has a voice that makes you feel why they disagree with you or agree with you.
And sort of when your goals are unrealistic, for example, or, you know, when you haven't thought about certain questions that you're supposed to think.
