My character, Solomon, being one of those young men, he's from Texas.
He's from East Texas, and he's grown up in a trailer park.

It's these two worlds colliding, two worlds from the totally opposite ends of the spectrum in America, but they've
They bond over this shared anger, loneliness, frustration, and they go on this kind of wild buddy trip.
So Balthazar is another sort of lonely young man.
He spends a lot of his time on the internet.
Well, they both do, and that's where they find this friendship, if you can call it a friendship.
And he spends a lot of his time performing these sort of fake crying videos for attention, for social media validation, to be a part of this community.
And Solomon finds one of these videos and starts trolling him.
And Balthazar, through this conversation, thinks that Solomon is a school shooter.
And he travels to Texas to be this hero, to be this white knight, to stop this school shooting.
And you slowly start to see that his intentions might not be totally altruistic.
And it's quite sinister and it's quite weird.
And you realize that
Neither of these guys are who they claim to be, and the whole thing is a bit of a performance.
You see this friendship form and you know, as the audience, these are not the people they should be looking for, yet they're brought together anyway.
And you have this real sort of impending sense that this can't go well.
Because as you said, Balthy is so disconnected from this observer as to everything that's going on around him.
And Solomon is like this case study for him.
