For me, uh the it was so sad because I just felt like he was going to miss us so much.
Like I wasn't handing him off to his forever home.
You know, like there's a quote people apply to dogs for various things.
I mean, I guess traditionally when you put them down, like something along the lines of we suffer so they don't have to.
Like you're saying goodbye to them and your life is gonna feel so empty, but they're not gonna be in pain anymore.
And it's like that.
Have applied to Zizu if I knew I was giving him to like his forever home for like a happier life, but I handed him off to another foster, which I'm sure he's doing amazing, but he's still up for adoption.
And I just felt like he was so in love with us.
Like I feel like he just wanted to be around us and follow me around all the time and just cuddle up with us.
And he loved Azul.
And I feel like when Nikki first came into the house, he had a little separation anxiety.
And then we kind of just started leaving him out of the crate when we left little by little.
And then
He would be right by the door when we got home.
And then as the two weeks went on, he would be like on the couch with Azul.
Like he didn't even seem anxious anymore.
And we just like fell in love with this dog.
And it was just so d hard.
