hide it you can go into your ad preferences you can install like on desktop anyway I don't know if you can do this on mobile but you can install ad blockers so that you can hide the ads on websites so I know the majority of us are probably on our phones or tablets so we may not have that option but if you use a laptop you can install an ad blocker and remove that from

uh what you see i mean they're not that effective anyway i mean how many of us click on the ads when you go to websites and yes my website has ads because it gives me money like it gives me revenue right so of course i'm gonna have ads on my website but how many of us actually like click on those types ads not very many right we click on ads on social media and emails from people that we um trust and know and like and that type of thing so um

All right, number six, which goes along with your budget and your spending and all of the other things that we have talked about is practicing mindful spending.
matched
So when you have created your budget and you are tracking your spending, you know how much money you have in certain categories.
matched
And you may have a category for just random things, which is normal and fine and a good idea, especially if you were really struggling with overspending.
matched
But what I want you to think about whenever you are going to purchase is being mindful of, do you have the money for that in your budget?
matched
What category is it going to come from?
matched
Because if you take it from, if you don't have it in your budget as a category, you're going to have to take it from something else, right?
matched
Is that more important than another category that you had money set aside for that you're going to have to take it from?
matched
So it really makes you consider whether something is really something that you want or that you need, or is it just an impulse buy that you're going to regret later?
matched
Because most of the time it's an impulse buy that we're going to regret later.

Number seven, which goes along with the same idea, is setting financial goals.
matched
So how I teach Money Success Club and in my coaching programs is creating short term and long term goals.
matched
So we want to have short micro goals.
matched
minimum goals, I teach minimum, mid level and then like stretch goals.
matched
This really helps with mindset helps with maintaining momentum and not feeling like you're failing.
matched
Because if you set these really big goals that are unreal, or not necessarily unrealistic, but
matched
let's just say it's like a two-year goal well a couple months in you start to lose focus because it's like too far away so you need to have some shorter term goals so have a goal for today have a goal for this week this month this quarter this half of the year year and so on so you want to take that big goal maybe your big goal is paying off your debt in two years right well that's going to take a while that's
matched
going to be further down the road, right?
