And it was the, the video camera from home alone to, uh, lost in New York.
Like I wanted that video camera so bad and I did get it, but that's the only gift that I remember getting as a child.
Like that is it.
I don't remember.
And I know I got lots of stuff and I'm sure you did too.
but do you remember any of them and like even thinking about that video camera it doesn't have any sentimental value i don't even still have it who knows how long i even had it uh but it like it didn't i wanted it but it didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things right so i want you to really think about that because gifts are not what is important to like 99 of us right
Now you do have people, and I know people, that their love language is gift giving.
And usually you can tell that because that's how they express their love as well.
So if you have somebody that is constantly giving you stuff, that's probably how they feel loved.
So giving them gifts is very meaningful to them, but that doesn't mean it has to be store-bought expensive gifts.
It can be homemade gifts, things.
thoughtful gifts.
Um, you know, it's really important to know what the person's love language is that you're buying for, because there's some people that love words of affirmations and they just want you to write them a really sweet letter talking about all the things that you love about them or certain memories with them, things like that.
Mine is acts of service.

I don't need anything, but I do need some help organizing or cleaning or just, you know, projects that my husband hasn't finished in like over a year.
You know, stuff like that is meaningful to me.
Other people, it's time.
So maybe it's doing an experience together as a family.
Maybe it's just spending an afternoon doing whatever they want, right?
