to integrate um financial therapy concepts and you know interventions and then I went back to school for a graduate certificate.
Um started meeting more advisors and advisors asking like, hey, why do you think this client's making this decision?
Hey, can I just talk to you about this client?
Like I started getting a lot of these this interest and like these requests.
Um, you know, to help advisors understand uh their clients, the psychology, right?
Kind of of their clients.
And it was interesting to me and I liked it simultaneously.
I was pretty burned out within the clinical space.
Um, COVID did a number on me, um, and really just felt like, huh, you know, this.
work over here is really exciting.
I feel like a sense of, I don't know, renewed energy, kind of and passion like for the work that I was doing.
Uh and so three years ago, um
you know, I started to make the pivot originally with offering just workshops for advisors teaching, you know, communication type skills, basics around financial therapy.
And then two years ago launched the full service of the um fractional financial behavior uh officer type role.
So uh this was started in twenty eighteen.
You know.
long right kind of go uh there that interest um is now, you know, to where I'm full time, at least in the financial industry space.
Yeah, if you had told me at the beginning like I would end up working in financial services, I would have said, No way.
Uh like there's no way that's gonna happen.
