Exec kind of position, travels a lot, feels really unbalanced, has younger kids, travels most weeks out of the year, does not get to see or be with his family.
Um, and is missing out and feeling that like parental tug, uh, but also.
you know, this other part is like, well, but I'm making a lot of money and there's some satisfaction in like the work that I do.
And if things have kind of evolved where it's creating the stuck point of like, well, what do I do?
Like I'm missing out on my kids' life.
You know, being, you know, a present parent is important to me.
I want to be there more for and with my kids.
Uh but
But
I also don't know then if I do that, what that looks like work-wise, career-wise, you know, uh income-wise.
It's not that is not a you have an hour-long conversation and then aha, like, you know, now the answer is revealed, maybe, right?
But those are the
That is an example of maybe a type of conversation or problem that I might explore with a client where, you know, money plays a role in it, but there is a deeper aspect to it.
So for that client in particular, you know, some of the things that we like we explored were what does success look like?
And where has your idea of success previously come from?
Right?
Lo and behold, coming from more, you know, family of origin, like money explicit, you know, implicit like messages around what does success look like?
