Like, not that there's anything wrong with those solutions, but they just don't get at what's at the heart or at the core, right?
Of maybe where or why that particular client is struggling.
Yeah, absolutely.
And I think the work that we do in this space, whether it's in the mental health space, financial service.
you know, or just even in client services in general is being um able to understand that oftentimes, you know, what we see on the surface is only a fraction of, you know, really what is going on.
And um you know
I'm thinking of it kind of like an iceberg.
I remember I have shared this before with others that in graduate school.
Um, and it's a
fairly, I would say, maybe common statement that floats at least around the mental health space.
Um, you know, but I remember my practicum supervisor saying that all behavior makes sense in context, right?
And so if we can just understand a little bit, we don't have to understand the full scope, but even just a little bit more of that context, it starts to make sense, right?
why clients make massive withdrawals impulsively or want to, right?
Or um why they struggle to make career changes that would align more with their values on who they want to be.
I try to, I try to.
I'm not perfect by any means.
Sometimes I'm not unfortunately they're all human.
The people I say all I'm like, listen, I make this sound really easy and really good.
And I also recognize that it's not always like that.
It's not always that easy uh you know, to do.
