To that point though, you know, I am part of my own kind of money story and you know journey and understanding uh some of um the the expression that I say is think, feel, do.
So understanding why do I think, feel, do the way I do around money.
You know, I'll share a story that my I had an older cousin who
who didn't live locally, they lived in South Carolina.
And uh she was a few years older and I would receive her hand me downs growing up.
And she was cool.
I regarded her as just, you know, I looked up to her.
I thought she was cool.
I thought she had cool clothes.
But I remember, um, you know, as I probably got to around like the start of middle school, a frustration around like not being able to pick out like my own.
stuff.
Like there was a very almost strong kind of I would say reaction around I don't want hand me down.
I don't want used club like I want new.
Now not maybe the latest greatest, maybe not
high-end like brand, but I wanted to be, you know, fitting in with the styles that other friends were and the clothes that I received, they would always be several, you know, kind of years old.
Right.
So fast forward um in graduate school, once I kind of got out on my own, you know, I felt very strongly around not going to consignment shop.
Um, not doing second hand, you know, which is fine.
There's nothing wrong with that.
But there's this also like logical part of me that would say or tell any client, there's nothing wrong with consignment clothes.
