researchers in the field of couples and relationships and been around since the early nineties.
Their research is incredible with respect to understanding what makes relationships work the way they do, being able to predict divorce, couples that will divorce.
I I won't get on my soapbox and talk all day about the Goblins, but that work that I learned and kind of read about sparked that interest.
in wanting to go more the clinical route of working.
And so after I graduated um in learning about different programs and and places that I could go and do that, I landed on a master's in marriage and family therapy.
And so
You know, I did that.
It's a two year program.
It's intense.
It's very clinical.
You know, meaning like five hundred hours, you know, as part of that of doing therapy and like clinical work.
So it's very like a lot of experience, like on the ground experience.
And I loved it.
I just absolutely loved it.
And, you know, from there post graduation.
Um
Um went into uh doing more of that and starting a private practice, um, private solo practice, uh, which is where um I lived for well over a decade.
