But there's also a longstanding rift between Senator Cassidy and President Trump dating back to at least 2021 when Cassidy voted to convict Trump of inciting a riot on January 6th.
OK, he's a physician who did practice for a long time in a lot of situations.

I think that this confirmation hearing was pretty effective as political theater.
They had like a really clear, good division of labor.
Folks had drafted their questions in a really tight way and came in with like a pretty unified front across party lines.
Bizarrely, Josh Hawley is like, hey, I need to talk to you about what I'm hearing from my constituents, which is they're concerned about the health risks of AI data centers.
