Like it feels like ice is very much in your neighborhood.
But the quietly part really is about is referencing, you know, what happened in Minneapolis was staged.
It was a concerted effort to draw headlines and to and to generate confrontation.
It was intentionally about that.
And that, as I mentioned, generated backlash.
And so ICE is doing what it's done for a long time, which is, frankly, just objectively more effective, is why would you generate that kind of backlash in Minneapolis when ICE is doing what it's been doing for a long time, just in higher numbers, which is when people come in to do their check-in, when they actually...
actually follow the law and the requirements, they get arrested.
This is about ICE making traffic stops one at a time and pulling people over and taking people into custody.
It's about ICE taking people into custody from local jails through agreements and partnerships that they have with state and local law enforcement to take people into custody that way.
They're still doing and again, it's very aggressive.
We've seen videos.
We have documentation.
I just talked with the ACLU about a massive report that they just released a couple of days ago that shows widespread abuse of use of force of, again, you know, justifying people in their vehicles, smashing windows.
shooting into vehicles when they claim that someone is directing their car at them, whether or not that's true.
So we're still seeing those tactics.
We're just seeing it less concentrated in a particular urban area.
And that's driving, again, just record arrest numbers.
It's really remarkable to see.
