And my editor actually said to me, I was just reading this bit.

And suddenly you're getting married.

Who is this person?

I was like, damn it.

I'm going to have to put more in.

And yeah, so it's interesting because, yeah, I just think.

I just don't want to talk.

And you've got to have bits that are just yours.

Protect the people who love you and who you love.

it's really a powerful example of how we live deeply connected none of us are islands and quite often the crews are the ones who are left it's the ones who don't get the tribute and they should quite often for me

And, you know, we're a team when you go and report on stories.

As you say, they're good people who need to be, I think, I wanted to really make sure, and I remember each story.

I remember who the crew was, the camera operator.

I know in my head who shot that with me.

And so for me, it was super important that they be acknowledged.

And they all come to the book launch and they all said,

thank you you know because they get left behind because they're not the they're not the front facing to the camera but they're the ones who no pictures no story and no pictures yeah no story and i just wanted to and and they've been messaging me as well as they read the book and they're like thank you and then at the end you know they're the first group of people that i acknowledge because all of them and i was terrified it's going to leave someone out inadvertently but

Yeah, it's important.

It is important to have people around you who can keep you sane and can, you know, they're an incredible bunch of humans, our camera operators, TVNZs, over the years too.
