And the room doors themselves didn't lock.
It had a big glass window, but the door going down the stairs, you know, that was obviously locked.
And the guards were downstairs.
And I remember them drinking carbon.
I wasn't afraid of those guys.
They're immigration customs or, you know, they're sort of policing it.
Local officers.
Yeah, it was, I was worried because I'd talked to everybody I knew, including MFAT, and they were trying to get in to see me and were denied entry, but I didn't know that at the time.
And it was just, I'd talked to friends of mine at Fiji TV and they'd warned me that the military are likely to come and just what one of the
the top military guys had said to one of them was, you know, if she gets on that plane tomorrow, she'll be lucky.
She deserves everything that's coming to her.
That, you know, that tone.
And so knowing what, especially the women had been through, especially the pro-democracy activists had been taken up to camp and they'd been really, really brave themselves and quite defiant.
And they came out different people after their encounter up at the military camp.
And the stories had circulated and swirled about what happens to you.
So, yeah, I was pretty anxious, but I knew that I had to be focused and keep busy.
So once I'd finished talking to people and my phone was nearly flat and I had to plug it in on the roof of the toilet.
Finding a power.
Yes.
It used to be an XBLA or something up then, so there was a plug.
